SYAO54 - turned 2 pager!

Here is week 54 of SYAO 2 ! I had a bit of a challenge with the color option being as most of my pics are boy related now to scrap. BUT it all worked out. :) So in my color scheme you will see Teal, a dreamy green, white, pale pink and a darker pink. I used flowers and a solid background as well as a large heart in the center of my page as "evidence". I also used a heart shaped journal box and doodled little hearts as I journalled as well for the "testimony".

The challenge was taken from CSI blog so I will be entering it there as well.

My layout was not complete though as I had many pictures from this day and I needed to add page 2 which I tried to make similar to page one but in it's own unique way. Meaning I couldn't keep up with so much pink lol.

Thanks for looking!

Washi - Washi !

And so was the challenge to use only washi tape with one piece of cardstock and one other embellie (although I did add a journal/title ticket - I needed someplace to write the memories?! ). This is the result! Not a bad page, but not sure I would do that again LOL. This challenge was for A Cherry On Top.

101 pages!

I had hoped to hit 100 pages by the end of the weekend and I did just that. Then worked on another after the kiddo went to bed. It went together quickly as it was a challenge with a sketch provided and those are always easy once the pics/papers are pulled.

So this page was for Acot's sketch 31 challenge.

And this page was made using parts from IASST  group, page kit swaps!

And the last for today ..

maybe :) Just have to take a break from scrappin' to make dinner and by then the boys should be awake to have a little family time!

For now here are the last two layouts I've been working on .. both also counted for challenges on Colorful Creations.

SYAO 53!

And it's done .. a new year a very hard challenge! I had to say I was so close to stepping down out of this challenge. My hubby and I discussed it and thought it might be best I just let the challenge slip by since the requirement of chicken wire really had me stumped and it was something I surely would never use on a layout all on my own.

BUT then a few days went by and I googled chicken wire and looked and looked at different sites and pics and became hooked. So much so that I pulled out the floral wire and made my own! So I hope that works for the challenge! If not I get an A for effort LOL! Here is my layout!

For the challenge I used inspiration from the " new line called Market Square from Farm House " , in which I pulled the blue, red, green and brown colors and the "Farm" theme itself. I used two tags to write my date and 6 pieces of different ribbon. I stamped my title on a piece of cardstock and layered it over the ribbon weaved through my handmade chicken wire. Wallah! Finished! Have to say I really like how it came out and wow only took about 2 hours to complete. ;) Bring on Week 54!

A close up of my papers, tags, ribbon and wire!

Thanks for stopping in!
