Pages 87-92

Woke up after a great nights sleep ( Tyler has had a cold for 4 days and this is the first night he slept thru again! ) YEAH!! Did all my household chores and what not. Except laundry which will be a most of the day event :)! AND ... started to scrap so here are my first 6 pages. All of them are for challenges in various places on the net and I'll figure out that later lol. I just wanted to take pics and get them posted so I can put them away and start on the next few! 

This is for a new blog http://itsabouttheboys.blogspot.com/, which I'm sure I will be loving! Their first challenge is to introduce the boys in our lives and so here its! I used a favorite FTS Sketch :)! 

This was my two pager created using Feb Monthly Sketch Challenge on FTS. And using parts from IASST swap group.

This was for the blog challenge on http://www.sketchnscrap.blogspot.com/ ! I will definitely use this sketch again and again. And, yes same pics as above this page is for mom's album :) !

Last but not least week 19 for FTS challenge. I used ric rac, monochromatic colors, ticket, washi tape, hand journalling and misted thru a chevron mask. 

Feb 1st! It's time to focus ..

on scrappin!

So I decided to sit out of CC's SYTYCS challenge as the requirements got to be a little too descriptive for my taste. I love and I do mean LOVE competition so this was a hard thing to just step out of knowing I had time to redo my layout for the challenge. But as in life I've learned there are some things it is ok to just say no to :)! Well this is one of those. I really want this year to be focused on completing pages and getting caught up. I do know this will never truly happen but I feel more confident about it happening if I don't have to spend a few hours searching for the certain amount of pics or pics that will work with a certain color scheme.  

I have a lot of places to still do challenges and so I will continue to do as many that work with my taste and my current projects! So there will be a few more pages added this weekend I'm sure as we kinda stick around home to avoid the cold Ohio winter we are  in. After last weekend's sledding event Tyler has been a little crabby with a cold so I think we will just be having a weekend of movies and snacks with warm blankies and hot cocoa! 

I just tallied last months layouts and completed 86 pages, and reaaaaaaaaaaally excited about that as my goal for the year is 500 and I'm almost 1/5 of the way there. Let's see what this weekend brings! 

Took some time ..

 to scrap tonight :)!

 I've been working on swaps for the last week or so and I needed to work on some pages 

tonight instead, and so I completed 3 ! And here they are ... 

This layout was done using a sketch for a challenge on FTS yahoo group. I also used punches, stamped stitching, stars (instead of flowers), arrows and alpha stickers. 

This was also for a challenge on FTS Quad War week 4 sketch. I will have to dig out some more pics to try another page or two for this sketch! Very easy and fun! 

  

This page was completed using a sketch on Paper Secrets and I also had to use Twine, which is at the top of my journal box. Another fun sketch!
