Week 11 @ FTS & ACOT 26 & SYAO 44

Complete!

I had some time this evening to catch up on some challenges and here they are .. syao 44 was a stretch for me with the stamping, stenciling and splattering as the technique! FTS was a very fun 2 page sketch I will definitely use again. My last challenge for ACOT was definitely modified to suit my needs but I love how the page turned out and I used up some swap pieces and old papers that have sat way too long! All in all a great night of scrapping! with 4 pages complete!

my SYAO 44 - I used 7 + pattern papers, twine, a tag & a ticket, metal button and charm, I stamped swirls, used my chevron stencil with purple ink and spattered orange paint on my layout. I have to say I was really unsure of this sketch but I loved the final results.

Page one to FTS wk 11 sketch challenge .. loved the whacky colors of the different papers I used. Thank you much to my Secret Santa who gave me a star border punch which I used and LOVE and some fun photo mats! 

and here is FTS wk 11 sketch challenge in which I used 5+ pattern papers, ribbon, bling, and stamping. 

Last but not least acot 26 challenge complete! Not quite what original sketch looked like but I like how it turned out :)!

Week 10 Challenge @ FTS!

Here is my week 10 challenge for Friends That Scrap yahoo group. First page is the sketch challenge and the second page was a happy extra! I used stamping as my technique, rubons, buttons and bling for my embellies! I really like this sketch and I Loved the paper so much that I used it all up on my next layout. 

These were pics of my daughter and I 7 years ago. Wow where did those years go? 

SYAO 43 & FTS Week 9

First of all HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I am having a wonderfully warm and enjoyable thanksgiving day with my family. Since they are currently napping or visiting other family I was able to quickly do my SYAO for this week. So now I have plenty of time to do some shopping the rest of the weekend!
Anywho ... for the challenge products I used  bling flourishes, both tags & tickets, 15 plus buttons and brads, 7 + pattern papers. For the technique I used 5 different border punches on most of my pattern papers :). It was a bit of a challenge since I really didn't want the layout to look to busy, but I do like how it came out. Thanks Paper Secrets for helping me complete another layout for the books!

These next two layouts were pretty much duplicate layouts for my son and my albums. I followed the sketch for our yahoo group challenge on Friends That Scrap. Thanks again for another fun challenge Alicia! 

SYAO42 & WK 8 # FTS

This first layout was for a sketch - challenge on Friends that Scrap, week 8 for us gals! I used 5+ brads, flowers, ribbon and faux stitching. AND best of all it turned into a two page layout! Love when that happens! 

Week 42 of SYAO - I love the 2 page sketches ! This one was much fun to try, especially since the only paint that I have that hasn't dried up was brown. Sooo I found me some dirty boy pics to scrap and did some fun brown paint splats to make it look like mud on my layout! I actually did all the techniques - sanding, tearing, distressing and used border punches. For my products I used 7+ pattern papers, 15 + brads and staples, polka dot pattern papers and my spattered paint! Thanks for stopping in and taking a look :)! 

FTS - Nov. Sketch & SYAO 41

Tonight I had some time to play before dh went to work. So I scrapped some fun and very recent pics. When does that ever happen?? Not often for me ;)! 

Anyway, here is November Sketch Challenge for Friends that Scrap yahoo group. I loved it so much I made a similar page for my book ;). It also led to a 2nd page that finished off the event. 

SYAO 41 complete! I really wanted to keep up with the current pics so I chose a nice B&W of my dd and ds taken this last summer. I used 15+ staples&brads, 7+ pattern papers, handmade flowers, pleated ribbon, shape punches and I inked/distressed all pattern papers. Thanks for stopping in! 

SYAO 40! Woohoo!

One more week, and it's already week 40! That means Christmas is right around the corner and life again will get a little hectic! UGH!! haha ... but for now Week 40 @ Paper Secrets SYAO challenge was made using : machine stitching, 11 staples, 8 + pattern papers, doodling around the large photo on the left and hand made pennants!
