And so the dilemma is over :) !  I had thought quite a bit about how I would tackle this or not .. and leaned a lot toward the not. Until someone brought up the idea of photo copying, which is free at my work!  So onward we go to week 48 in this challenge! 

I do like how this came out and I originally thought to make it for my scrapbook album, but I'm not sure that's where it will end up. I might just add it to my little guy's albums instead :).

For this challenge I did a stamped stitch around my 12x8 picture and I distressed my journalling ticket. I also used numbers, 5 washi tapes, chevron paper, paint, tag & ticket and twine.

Few pages, challenges etc ..

Well the week of vacation went to quick again as always :). I did get a few pages done and some will actually be fore challenges on different sites etc. I also used many kits or items received in swaps/pifs again which I love using! Here they are! 

This was a page kit I made for my yahoo group Page Kits Plus .. a page for mom's album :)! 

I made an extra kit and used it for Tyler's page in his album!

This was a page kit swap from IASST, and I LOVE the poem .. "What is a Boy?". Such a perfect poem for these pics of Tyler. If you can't zoom in and read it let me know I'll send it to you! Oh and this will also work for a challenge on ACOT - Fashion Findings Challenge using school girl type designs or embellies. I used the plaid printed paper. 

This was a page kit made for me on my yahoo group Page Kits Plus by Donna Clark! Thank U Donna for all the fun kits I've received from you :)! 

This is a page of misc papers and pics of my youth almost 40 years ago! Thank U Mick for the very cute Easter paper piecing!

These were pics of Memorial Day parade 5-27-2012. As you can see not many pics of the parade but just of my little guy enjoying the day! This page was for Tyler's album ...

and this page was for mom's album, it was also for a sketch challenge on ACOT! 

Last but not least my SYAO46 challenge, it was using the same sketch as ACOT, which was funny as I didn't know that until I finished the previous challenge. BUT I really loved the sketch so I changed it up a little and did it again and loved how it came out. This is my DD's 6th birthday from 16 years ago :)! 

For the challenge I used stamping, distressing of the cardstock, 2 of the number 6's, 10 photos, twine and a ruler washi tape.

These photo's were taken during a 2012 Summer Family Photo Shoot :). 

This layout was for a sketch challenge on Friends That Scrap Yahoo group, week 12. There are 7 of us still in it to win it! I think this will go a loooooooong time though as much of us are die hard scrappers and love challenges! 

I used bling, brads, tags, tickets, distressing, misting and tearing.  Again loved the sketch and will most likely use it again!

Here is my syao 45! I was a little worried about this one but on our road trip today my dh stopped and let me pick up a heat/embossing gun so I could safely do the embossing that the challenge required. I also used 7 + pattern papers, rub ons, 3 hand made flowers and alpha stickers. I dry embossed the blue title box, and heat embossed 3 of the pattern papers on this first page here with a starburst stamp and black powder. I really liked this sketch a lot, I made the blocks larger which allowed me to complete two pages of my dd's friends senior photo's!

before I run away to a cabin in the woods with my family I had to complete a building the snowman page kit... I still have one more to finish up but I'm so happy with the results of this one that I wanted to share it now! Thanks for stopping in!

Pagemaps Sketch Challenge

http://pagemaps.blogspot.com/ offered up this sketch challenge this month and I really liked it for some of my  baby pics I have yet to scrap of my little guy! So here is my take on it ...

Sick Day ...

So today I called off work .. yup I NEVER do that! BUT I did .. Dr. said I have strep and not too keen on sharing that bug with work people :)! BUT I did feel better today then yesterday so I spent much of it sorting/organizing/filling albums! GO me! All of my families albums are now caught up and in order (at least with the pics I've scrapped - still have plenty to go). Usually when I do layouts I stack them on a shelf in my closet and they sit there till I get a good stack (100 or so) then I sort them and put them in albums. WELL I had lots more than 100 in that stack and many of my albums had pages tucked in where they were supposed to be, but not actually in page protectors. Not something I usually do, so today I fixed all that! After all that was said and done, and it took most of the day with many Tyler breaks, I scrapped a little. Now I'm up to 400 pages for the year and over 1400 pics. WHOOHOO !! I'm really excited about that. All my scrapping today was done using premade kits from swaps I was in the last year or two. So thank you ladies for helping me fill my books and make my pages look awesome!
