3 cards!

Ok So I didn't call it quits just yet! I got my christmas papers out and started working on Christmas cards for a swap I joined. The cards also counted for points on Friends that Scrap so why not start them now?! I finished up 3 and now I have to get to bed or I'll be reaaaaaaaaally tired at the zoo tomorrow ;) ! Gnite all!

Last two for the night!

I think I've made over 30 layouts since yesterday. That's an awesome feat for me even if they only took me a few minutes each! I'm happy with my 241 layouts for the year!  Anyway here are my last two challenges for the night!

This was a challenge to use a yellow school bus and that I did! Another Friends that Scrap Labor Day Bash Challenge Done!

This was a sketch/brand challenge for Paper Secrets. I took the challenge and adapted it for my photo booth shots of me and my grandma almost 35 years ago! EEK am I that old? I also used all Authentique papers except the background piece.

week 17 Acot Challenge & More

Well I've tried to keep up with challenges even though I really need to do some fall cleaning :) ! I got my page kits out and started on some much needed piles of photo's ... here they are

week 17 at A Cherry On Top

SYAO 31 on Paper Secrets. net  - for this challenge I used 3 handmade flowers, washi tape, twine, and a fabric flower. I also did some faux stitching on the center green strip.

Syao 30!

Well after much cleaning and organizing in the garage, dinner , a shower for the 2yr old and other household chores after a 9 hour work day .. I actually made it to the scrapbook table. HA! This sketch was harder for me, or so I thought all week long until I sat down at the desk and found the perfect pictures to use in it ;)! It came out great on my end, but I'm sorry for the blurry pic on here! It was a quick picture so I can upload before the deadline or my bedtime which actually comes first!

I used 3 + pattern papers all from a pif I received on an email group .. love that! I also used a prima bling butterly I've had for a couple years and thought it was too pretty to actually use. I added some extra bling, some ribbon and staples to my quote box and called it a night! I was going to add more but it really was just enough for the pictures and the quote. TFL ! OH... I also used ink and a distress edging tool for my edges as my techniques!

My week 29 syao challenge went together quickly and I was able to turn it into a two page layout. Love when that happens! I used a chipboard title, ribbon on my stick pin as a flag, 3 + pattern papers, and lots of buttons. I also did some faux hm stitching and used a few punches!

Week 16 for ACOT

Yes I'm ahead, but that's only because I skipped the week 15 sketch. It didn't really suit me and I didn't want to conform pics to a sketch I wasn't too crazy about. SOOO onto week 16 which worked out just perfect I think for some left over pics I had of my little guy. TFL!

More Challenges!

It's that time again .. late Tuesday night and I had to sneak in some challenges before the deadline! I even got an extra one done for August, go me! I have to put scrap stuff away though after tonight. Have much work to do in the next few days as we move our oldest off to school again.... I'm gonna miss her! She's going just a little bit farther away from home and it won't be as easy to run down to see her for dinner and shopping any more!

This was for a sketch and brand challenge on Paper Secrets. I used all Echo Park items and loved the sketch!

This was week 14 on acherryontop.com challenge. Again I really liked this sketch and will be sure to use it again :)!

And last but not least SYAO28! I actually had already used this sketch for my swap group and really loved it but I varied it up for this round and it came out just as nice, if I do say so myself! I used : 3+ pattern papers, pennants, twine, staples and border punches!
