Layouts 26-30

This was a 2 page layout that I made 2 of pretty similar so I didn't photograph the second set. The pieces were from an IASST page kit swap. I love fall and these colors were great and good thing is I have lots of leftovers to make some fall cards :)! 

Here is my SYAO 49 challenge. I liked the sketch but had a hard time with the requirements again. I did my distressing on all pp and machine stitching on the journal box. I also used 8 hearts, 10+ pattern papers, rik rak and tags.  

This was the last page I worked on last night. I had a hard time fitting 5 pics on the page with the limited paper I had but it was finishing Tyler's trip home from the hospital so I wanted it all to match and fit in the album correctly. It came out ok, and it's done! 

This is for a challenge on Colorful Creations, following a sketch from a member spotlight of Jackie Edwards. I really liked the sketch will definitely use it again. 

Today ...

will be spent scrapping a little bit more but I do have to grocery shop and do other errands as my DH goes back to work tonight and I will be the only one here left to play with Tyler .. so these are the last of my pages from yesterdays scrappin' stint and I hope to share a few more tonight ?

2 page layout using BG lollipop line from years ago! Just misc pics that finally found a home! 

I made three layouts of the same two pics. One for each of our albums. I'm doing this less and less but with pics like these that are special occasions I feel I still need copies for our "own" albums :). I used a page kit swap from "Swapsthatwork" yahoo group and another page kit from a pif from Liana :) TY ladies for making my work easy today! Oh and this first layout will be used on Acot's Lift yourself challenge :) !

This was leftovers from an IASST swap. Actually all I had was some paper and a few embellies that I made work. I really loved the way this turned out for no idea how to get the pics on paper to begin with!

A premade layout I picked up a long the way not sure who from but all I had to do was add some pics and a few die cuts :D!

So 3 more pages and 2 challenges complete! These pages are for my dd's albums and cover the challenges at A Cherry On Top January Sketch and Paper Secrets Jan Sketch with a twist to use Washi Tape! I loved them both and will for sure use them again! 

FTS wk 14 & a few more lo's

Here are the first of my 2013 layouts. I should say that I've set my goal to 500 for this year. I did just over 420 in the year 2012 with 200+ swaps, so this year should be a piece of cake as long as I also keep up my goal of cutting back on swaps to 100 (or so ;) ) ... Anyway here are the first layouts of the year, 8 pages to start it off! 

This layout will be for a challenge on Colorful Creations, for the "Boy" Challenge. Only requirements were to use blue, a star and bling. Mick Pepper made this page kit for me and it already had 2 of the requirements on it so adding some blue cardstock finished it off!

This was a partial kit from IASST about cookies. I added the pattern paper and the title myself :) ! 

This was wk 14 challenge at FTS yahoo group. I used some embossed card fronts I've had for a while from Juanita (thanks!) and the rest was leftovers from my stash.

FTS Dec Sketch & SYAO 48

Here is my SYAO 48 .. I really liked this sketch and I loved the banners on the original sketch as well, BUT I wanted to use up these papers and the swap kit that was made to go with it. So I improvised :). I did use a wire paperclip, paint (on a circle stamp that I stamped on the white paper very hard to see) I also painted the  medalallion that says 22 with a yellow paint. I used stamped stitches, and a paint pen to do white stitches, I used my paper crimper to make the pennants corrugated, I also used a Tim Holtz light purple ink (forgot the color name right now) to ink/distress all the white cs, and stamp the mini banner on the journal box. I inked/distressed all the pennants as well and the medallion in the middle. 

 So in short used : wire, medallion, paint, Tim Holtz distress ink, corrugated paper, distressing, stamping and stitching! 

This is a layout made for FTS yahoo group as the Dec Sketch Challenge. The pic is blurry and words are backwards because I took it using the video camera on the new computer :D! 

Week 13 at FTS yahoo group

... just a day after Christmas and we are back to challenges :) !! The first page of this double layout is for week 13 at FTS yahoo group. I used faux stitching, border punch, ribbon, 3+ flowers, glitter (stickles), chipboard bubbles, and alpha stickers! 

and of course a page of the same pics for mom's album :)!
