One Month and One Day Scrapped!

Well my topic or title really means that in the last two days I've made 32 page layouts. Some were double pages but they still count as 32 pages! This is one month and one day in my goal of a page a day for the year 2012. I'm SOOOO HAPPY about how much I've accomplished this weekend. Many of the pics I scrapped were pics I've already had pulled with matching kits and or swap pieces so they went together quickly. When I have some days like this off I really want to just get as much done as I can. On weekend nights after work and when I have an hour to scrap I usually play with my newer papers and non sorted pics because I use the full hour to create a layout, well if I can :)!
But here were today's accomplished layouts. Sorry for the fuzzy pics on some I didn't realize how bad they were until I uploaded them but I'm not gonna redo them at this point. Time for bed!

This was one of my last pages of the night. I used some paper piecings I had made for my yahoo group and some paper from my stash. I also used the road washi tape .. love that stuff! Simple but fun layout :)!

This layout had a few elements on it from IASST. I believe the zoo kit was from a BoBunny swap and the borders were from Liana's Border Swap .. I have to say I didn't much care for these borders until I placed them on this page. The colors and accents were perfect!

This was a kit I picked up via piffing from Liana .. thank U!!

This next page was just something I threw together using various stuff from my "Family Folder" of stuff.

This was another premade page kit from IASST. I used just a few of the elements and will have enough left to do another page some day!

Again pieces from a page kit swap on IASST. I really loved these colors and items!

Thanks to Lisa L. for this premade layout for a swap on my yahoo group. I added a few more pics then the  sketch allowed for but it worked out great for me!

More page kit parts from IASST.

and more ...

and thank you to Mick P. for the first page of this double layout. She made the parts that went along with a sketch she chose on my yahoo group. I simply added the second page and filled it full with lots of fun pics!

Thanks ladies for all the work that went into my pages today! Total count as of 10-7-12 is 290 pages! WOHOOO!!

Even though it's now Sunday ..

These layouts are the last of my Saturday Scrappin' :)!

This was a mix of a page kit swap put together on Lisa L.'s group Swaps that Work and a few extras like the border I made. I didn't use all the elements for the swap because not many sand dollars in Lake Erie, lol, so I'll save them for our beach trips to the ocean :)!  So page 1 ,2 and 3 done!

I did a second layout of same subject for Mom's books. Again the borders were made by me and the title was a tag title swap on Lisa's group Swaps that Work. Love these!

And last I made some pages for my daughters album of her and her lil brother @ the city pool. Lots of pictures so I kept it simple to squeeze them all on. I made the border/title Summer. And I added some various extras from my beach/pool stash!

Lots o' LO's!!

Well I've had a lot more time to play today then I thought I would so here are some of today's creations! This is peices parts from a page kit swap on IASST .. ty ladies! I made the pp truck and used some scraps to capture this single shot of my little guy mesmorized by the dump trucks at the babysitter's home :)! He is a boy when it comes to his cars and trucks!
This next layout was of my little guy hanging out in the corner at his gramma's just watching everyone. My only shot of that moment but it was too good not to scrap! I used lots of leftovers for this layout but I like how it came out. It is also for a sketch challenge on another blog!

This next layout was a premade layout I made for my group Page Kits Plus on yahoo. I made this layout about 6 or 7 months ago and finallyfound pages to work on it! Love it when it all comes together!

Some pics I've needed to scrap for a while but couldn't find the right papers for, so I found some cute bright papers to liven up the pics and wallah! Another page done!

This next layout was from my new counterfeit kit for October. It also was for a sketch challenge on another blog!

This page is for my dd of her lil' brother. Some of the elements on the page were from a page kit swap on IASST! Again thank you ladies for some awesome work!

FTSSC week 3 for Friends that Scrap group! I used bling, rub ons and journalling and did some stamping as well. The papers and embellies were all from my counterfeit kit!

Again more papers from my counterfeit kit, can you tell I'm liking this challenge!!?? This was Friends that Scrap October Sketch and it came out just how I hoped!

Last but not least a premade kit from Concetta! Thank you for an awesome layout to place my pics on!

My first Counterfeit Kit Layout!

And I do have to say I LOVE IT! Tara on FTS yahoo group has challenged us into creating our own counterfeit kit to work with this month when scrappin' pics. I am a very straight forward everything has to match scrapper so I thought this was a big challenge for me. BUT after I've pulled my supplies and now accomplished an entire layout I JUST LOVE THE IDEA! I would have never used all the different elements on this page if I hadn't of created this kit. So I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Below my layout is the 3 pics of the kit I've created with my papers and embellies. So in the next few weeks you will see lots of layouts with something of these 3 pics on them :) !

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ...

I loved these pics even though they aren't the greatest from my ipod, I can still hear him singing many choruses of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as we stood outside watching the moon and waiting for the stars to appear!

These pics made a hard challenge lots of fun! I finished it up the first night of the challenge only because it was one of those pages you just couldn't walk away from. The technique for this challenge was to use journaling or a pic in a hidden form of a pocket or a fold. So I simply made a little accordian fold in the bottom right corner and added a lace heart to the top. It really was the perfect add on because I had a lot to journal and no where to put it :). I used 7 + pattern papers, Kraft Bazzill background papers, small sticker letters for my quote "And he makes my life worth living!", and two little owls I received as a RAK from Melissa Marie :)!

Another SYAO challenge complete!

This next layout is for the Paper Secrets October Sketch Challenge and I used all Jillibean papers and some ribbon. Buttons and background paper were the only items not from Jillibean Soup :) !

SYAO35, ACOT21 and FTS 1 & 2 .. DONE!

This was wk 21 or sketch 21 on ACOT. I used their sketch for my first page and page two became a fun bonus for me :)!

Started a new challenge on the yahoo group Friends That Scrap. Thank YOU Alicia for more fun! This is my week two. For the technique I used dry embossing on my yellow photomat. I then used brads, sticker alphas and washi tapes.

This was my first week's challenge for FTS. I already uploaded the pic to the group site but still wanted to add it to my blog :)!

And wk 35 in SYAO at paper secrets. I LOVE DOUBLE SKETCHES!! I hope the rest that we get are 2 pages cuz I will be cooking with some pics then! LOL
I used a paper pieced item for my technique. For the embellies I used cloud shapes, 7+ papers, stickles and a rub ons on one of my photos!

I'm done super early this week with all my challenges and many swaps so I hope to actually have some fun scrapping this week and long weekend ahead! Or maybe I'll just relax and watch TV or something ;)!

a break from the norm ....

Yesterday we went on a little family outing. BUT of course five minutes into the walk at the park the camera batteries died! Go figure! I was able to get a few pics here and there and I thought I would share them since all I usually share is finished layouts ! Maybe you should all see what some of my family members look like now instead of years or months ago on a layout :)!

Here is my Terrific almost 3 year old Tyler and Daddy at the Holden Arboretum. The weather was perfect and the changing leaves and fall flowers were beautiful. We are hoping for another good weekend next weekend so we can go back. My oldest will be home from college and my batteries will be charged and maybe we can catch some good family shots!
